  • Activity Group Ballinahinch
    The activity group has a programme of recreational activities and social events that help to improve well being and are both stimulating and enjoyable for people in the early stages of dementia and their carer or friend.
  • Ballynahinch Carer Support Group
    The Support Group gives family carers the opportunity to meet others in similar situations and a chance to share their experiences, concerns and problems in an understanding and confidential setting.
  • Carer Information Evenings
    Carer information evenings provide the opportunity for carers to develop their knowledge and understanding of dementia. Topics may include: What is dementia, understanding challenging behaviour, legal and financial issues etc
  • Downpatrick Carer Support Group
    The Support Group gives family carers the opportunity to meet others in similar situations and a chance to share their experiences, concerns and problems in an understanding and confidential setting.
  • Hillsborough Activity Group
    Activity Group for people with Dementia and thier Carers
  • Lisburn Carer Support Group
    The Support Group runs in conjunction with the South Eastern Trust gives family carers the opportunity to meet others in similar situations and a chance to share their experiences, concerns and problems in an understanding and confidential setting. Speakers are arranged to meet the need of the group.
  • Newcastle Activity Club
    Activity Clubs are for people in the early stages of dementia and thier carer or friend to attend together. Each club has a membership for up to 20 people
  • Newcastle Carer Support Group
    The Support Group gives family carers the opportunity to meet others in similar situations and a chance to share their experiences, concerns and problems in an understanding and confidential setting.
  • Outings and Day Trips
    Outings may include a meal or teadance for carers and people with dementia and an annual carers pamper day
  • Outreach Service
    The Outreach Service offers community support by providing information, signposting of services and emotional support to people with dementia, their carers and families through direct contact visits in or beyond the family home.
