  An artistic group for people living with dementia to come along and try something new in a friendly and supportive enviroment. Held every Friday at St Mairs Day Centre from 13:30-15:00. for further information please call 01443 400233 to speak to a member of staff.

• Befriending in RCT
  Volunteer Befrienders are placed with a person living with dementia according to their hobbies and interests. Befrienders are available to take a person with dementia shopping, to the cinema, long drives or maybe just a a chat in the comfort of their own home.
• Carers Support Group in Cynon

• Forget Me Nots Cafe in Cynon
  The cafe brings together people living with dementia and their families for an informal and relaxed evening. Each cafe has a guest speaker, a raffle and some form of entertainment.   The cafe brings together people living with dementia, family and friends for an informal and relaxed evening. The cafe has a relevant speaker, raffle, buffet and some form of entertainment.   An opportunity for anyone living with dementia to meet in a friendly and relaxed environment, share experiences and enjoy time together. Friends and family are also welcome. The cafe usually has a relevant speaker, raffle, buffet and some form of entertainment. Held on the first Wednesday of every month at Taffs Well Inn from 5pm-7pm. • Information and Outreach Service in RCT
  An information service for carers including home or office visits by appointment. Provides printed information, confidential support, referral to statutory services and signposting to other services.
• Peer Support Group in Cynon

  Singing for the Brain is a form of music therapy for people living with dementia. It offers a sensory experience and includes activities of repetition which help build in the memory for song and music. Held every Friday from 10:30-12:00 at St Mairs Day Centre. • Wednesday Walkers in RCT
  A group for people living with dementia and their carers to come along, make new friends and enjoy lovely local scenery. The routes selected are shorter walks over flat/gently sloping trails in and around the Cwm Taf area.
