• Dementia Cafe Rhiwbina, Cardiff
  Our cafes are open to all carers and the people they care for as well as those with an interest in dementia. It is an informal oppportunity to meet with others with experiences of dementia.
• Dementia Care Activity and Respite Service for younger people in Cardiff
  5 x 3 hour sessions weekly.

• Dementia Support & Information Events in Cardiff and The Vale
  Invitation to people with dementia, their carers, professionals and commissioners to up to 4 dementia support and information events per year on themed topics.

  2 day course 'Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow' as well as other bespoke courses
• Evening Support Group - Cardiff and The Vale
  Evening support group every 2nd tuesday of each month at Oldwell Court 7-9pm. Carers can participate whilst the people they care for are provided with care on site in the day room.

• Life Stories - Cardiff and The Vale
  Course for newly diagnosed people with dementia and their carer to explore their life and record memories of people, places, interests, work etc in whatever format they choose, e.g life story books, memory boxes, collages, photo story boards etc.

  Monthly Dementia Cafe on the first Tuesday of every month
• Locality Dementia Awareness Project - Cardiff and the Vale
  Public talks / information sessions on the work of the Society, dementia, needs of people with dementia and their carers. For professionals from all agencies, groups of any type, general public and people with dementia and their carers.
• Quarterly Newsletter - Cardiff and the Vale
  12 - 16 page newsletter providing information on all aspects of dementia care, local service provision, campaigns and locality activities
• Singing for the Brain group - Cardiff and The Vale
  Weekly singing group for people with dementia and their carers.
• The Bus Project - Cardiff
  A unique project - the bus is based in 16 local communities each for 1 day per month providing information support and signposting to the public along with ongoing dementia support to people with a dementia and their carers.There is limited free access to therapeutic therapies such as reflexology by qualified staff.
• The Film Buffs - Cardiff and the Vale
  People with dementia and their carers are offered a monthly film at our Base in Oldwell Court. Supported by staff giving opportunity to both socialise and access peer support.
• Ty Hapus - Cardiff and the Vale
  Trained staff will work with younger people with dementia on a range of activities that will suit an individual's personality and choice.
