• Befriending
  Offers up to 3 hours of respite for carer
• Carer Education Programme
  The programmes comprise of 4 weekly sessions each lasting half a day. The sessions are entitled Introduction to Dementia, Behaviours we find challenging, Changing Relationships and Activities. The aim is to assist carers in their caring role by providing knowledge and understanding of the illness, and some coping strategies for their everyday lifes.
• Carers Information Programme
  An information programme with a variety of speakers. Sessions run over a six week period.
• Dementia Cafe - Haverfordwest
  People with dementia can attend with their families for support and information in a relaxed social environment. It provides an opportunity for carers to share their experiences and to support each other as well as having the opportunity to discuss a range of issues with Alzheimer’s Society staff and volunteers.
• Dementia Cafe - Milford Haven
  People with dementia can attend with their families for support and information in a relaxed social environment. It provides an opportunity for carers to share their experiences and to support each other as well as having the opportunity to discuss a range of issues with Alzheimer’s Society staff and volunteers.
• Dementia Cafe - Saundersfoot
  People with dementia can attend with their families for support and information in a relaxed social environment. It provides an opportunity for carers to share their experiences and to support each other as well as having the opportunity to discuss a range of issues with Alzheimer’s Society staff and volunteers.
• Dementia Cafe- Fishguard
  People with dementia can attend with their families for support and information in a relaxed social environment. It provides an opportunity for carers to share their experiences and to support each other as well as having the opportunity to discuss a range of issues with Alzheimer’s Society staff and volunteers.
• Narberth Carer Group
  The Group provides a setting for Carers to meet and discuss issues and share advice and information.

  Support group for carers of people with dementia offering an opportunity to meet other carers, share experiences and support each other.
• Singing for the Brain- Haverfordwest
  Singing for the Brain® is designed to be a fun, stimulating and social activity for people in the early to moderate stages of dementia and their carers.
