Services offered

  • Befriending Service - Plymouth
    Befriending for people with dementia and carers' support. The service hours are flexible to reflect the needs of service users, including weekends and evenings.
  • Dementia Support Worker Service - Plymouth
    Support for people with dementia and their carers through services and home visits. Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 9am-4.30pm.
  • Information Line - Plymouth
    Information line to provide support and information to the general public. Office hours.
  • Memory Cafe - Crownhill
    A drop-in dementia cafe to provide informal support to people with dementia and their carers.Meetings are held fortnightly on a Wednesday afternoon 2-4pm from 2 May 2012.
  • Memory Cafe - Plymouth
    Social meetings for people with dementia and their carers. An opportunity to meet others, and to gain support, information & advice. The Memory Cafe is held fortnightly on a Monday afternoon from 18th June.
  • Memory Cafe - Plymstock
    Drop in dementia cafe to provide informal support to people with dementia and their carers. Memory Cafe held fortnightly on a Wednesday afternoon from 2pm until 4pm starting 23rd May 2012.
  • Peer Support - Plymouth
    Peer support group for people with dementia and their carers. Runs every Friday 2pm until 4pm until 12th October 2012.
  • Ringback - Plymouth
    Telephone outreach service for all carers and people with dementia on the database. Telephone calls are made to all those on the database once a month to maintain contact and provide support and information if required. Outreach calls are made over the course of each month by volunteers.
  • Singing for the Brain - Plymouth
    Singing group for people with dementia and their carers held weekly on a Thursday afternoon from 2pm until 4pm.
