Provides emotional and practical support on all aspects of living with memory problems. - Dementia Cafe - West Berkshire
Dementia Cafe. Second Thursday afternoon of the month, at Midgham near Thatcham. Entertainment, speakers, raffles, quizzes, wordsearches and a lovely afternoon tea of sandwiches & cake. Suggested client contribution of £2.50 per head. - Dementia Care Advisory Service - West Berkshire
A personalized one to one service. A trained Dementia Support Worker will listen to all your concerns and provide confidential support. They will provide a consistent point of contact, offer relevant and timely information, link you with Health and Social Services as necessary and provide opportunities to meet other people with dementia and carers. - Gardening for the Brain (incorporating peer support) - West Berkshire
Friday Mornings weekly 10.30am-12.30pm, early April until the end of Sept in Burghfield Common. Winter indoor gardening activities once per month in Burghfield Methodist Church Hall - Gardening for the Brain at Englefield Five-a-Day - West Berkshire
A gentle gardening activity designed specifically for people with dementia at the Englefield Five-a-Day project. An eight week session running weekly as a block through spring, summer & autumn. New clients invited on each course. - Information provision - West Berkshire
