Services offered

• Brighton & Hove Carer Information and Support Programme (CrISP)
  The Carer Information and Support Programme or CrISP course lead by the Carers' Information Programme Development Manager providing effective support and up to date, relevant and evidence based information in a group environment. Please contact the office for details of the next available programme.
• Brighton & Hove Dementia Support Service
  Support and information for carers, relatives or friends of people living with dementia. Services offered include telephone contact , peer support groups, drop-in, domiciliary visits and cafe.
• Brighton & Hove Home Support Respite Service
  Home Support Respite Service for people with dementia and their carers, offering respite, support and advice. A 3 hour visit per week is funded by Brighton & Hove Council and the PCT and is delivered to approximately 65 families across Brighton & Hove, by a team of 11 Home Support Workers. Privately funded visits are also available, please contact the office for details.
• Brighton and Hove Telephone Information & Support
  Provision of telephone Information and Support during office hours 9am - 5pm, Monday to Friday.
• Brighton Peer Support Group
  A monthly peer support group for carers currently caring for someone with dementia. Meetings are held every 2nd Tuesday of the month from 10.30 - 12.30pm.
• De-Cafe Brighton
  Provides entertainment and support for people with dementia, carers, family/friends and health and social care professionals. The cafe runs every 3rd Wednesday of the month, 6.00pm to 8.00pm.
• De-Cafe Hove
  Provides entertainment and support for people with dementia, carers, family/friends and health and social care professionals. The cafe runs every 4th Wednesday of the month, 5.00pm to 7.00pm. Starts on Wednesday 28 November 2012.
• Hove Peer Support Group
  A monthly peer support group for carers currently caring for someone with dementia. Meetings are held every 4th Tuesday of the month from 1.30 - 3.30pm.
