Telephone befriending offering a friendly and sympathetic listening ear. LinkLine matches carers with a trained volunteer for ongoing support, over the telephone only. - Barnet Marillac at Stepping Stones
Dedicated day care for people with dementia of all ages, especially those who find it difficult to fit in elsewhere and more active people whose needs can't be met by other centres. - Barnet Sunday Club
Social club for people with memory problems and their family. Varied programe of activities. Somewhere to relax and have a chat with others. - Barnet Carer's Support Group
Chance for family carers to meet with others 'in the same boat' for mutual support and sharing of information. Also speakers on topics of interest, including the Consultant Old Age Psychiatrists.
