Services offered

  • Carer's Support Group, Huntingdon
    Open to those caring for people with dementia. This is a structured group where carers can participate in a forum setting to develop coping strategies for living well with dementia and moving forward in a positive way, set within a safe confidential environment. Held third Thursday of the month between 1.30 – 3.30 at The Maple Centre, 6 Oak Drive, Huntingdon, PE29 7HN. There is a nominal charge for attendance. For more information contact the office.
  • Carer's Support Group, St Ives, Cambs
    Open to those caring for people with dementia. This is a structured group where carers can participate in a forum setting to develop coping strategies for living well with dementia and moving forward in a positive way, set within a safe confidential environment. Held monthly on first Thursday of the month between 1.00pm-3.00 at The Corn Exchange, The Pavement, St Ives, PE27 5AE. There is a nominal charge for attendance.   • Dementia Adviser, Huntingdon
    The Dementia Adviser offers support and information, focusing on the person with dementia and thier needs to make the right decisions about their future. Assessments can be undertaken as can referrals to other outside agencies. For more information on this service please contact Vivian Beck.
  • Dementia Information Point, Huntingdon
    Your opportunity to call in to ask questions, receive information and/or support. Held the last Tuesday of the month from 10.30- 12.30 at Huntingdon Library, Princes Street, Huntingdon PE29 3PA. For further information contact the office

    Dementia Support Workers work together with person with dementia and their carers’ and families to help understand dementia by providing on going support, information, guidance and coping strategies. We can also refer to our groups or signpost to other organisations
  • Pathways for Men, Huntingdon
    Gender specific support group. Runs on a weekly basis over 8 weeks, by invitation only. This service is for people with mild dementia and is designed to stimulate recall. Run on Wednesdays from 10.30-12.00 and 2.00- 3.30. Held at the Community Room, Park View, Cromwell Square, Huntingdon, PE29 1HA. There is a nominal charge for attendance.   • Pathways for Women, Huntingdon

  • Primary Care Memory Service, Huntingdon
    Supporting people with early memory problems. Referrals received from Cambridge and Peterborough Foundation Trust. To offer support, signposting and information
