Borehamwood Dementia Cafe for people with dementia and their carers to come and socialise, listen to presentations and join in with activities. Held at St Michael & All Angels Church Hall, Brook Road,Borehamwood WD6 5EQ, on the second Thursday of the month between 1pm till 3pm. - Dementia and Carer Support

The facilitation of group sessions for people with dementia and their family, friends and carers to discuss the diagnosis of dementia and its consequences in an informal environment in the presence of, and supported by peers. Dementia Cafes provide information and peer support which aim to put people with dementia and their carers in control of their lives so they are able to live well with dementia. Held on the 3rd Tuesday of the month between 10.00 am and 12.00 pm at St Mary & St Joseph's Parish Centre. - Information Provision - West Herts

If you are a couple living and coping with dementia, come and join our friendly and informal lunchtime meetings at various local venues. Support groups are a valuable opportunity for people facing similar challenges, to share their experiences and support each other. We meet twice a month. These groups recognise that the interests of younger, more physically active people with dementia are generally different to those of older people. There will be the opportunity to engage in activities in an informal environment. The programme of activities will be agreed by group members.
