  • Art & Handicraft Group, Arbury, Cambridge
    Art and handicraft group held alternate Wednesdays in the Church of the Good Shepherd Hall, Mansel Way, off Arbury Road, Cambridge CB4 2ET. There is a nominal charge for attendance. Please contact the Cambridge and Ely office for further details.
  • Dementia Adviser, Cambridge and Ely
    The Dementia Adviser offers support and information, focusing on the person with dementia and thier needs to make the right decisions about their future. Assessments can be undertaken as can referrals to other outside agencies. For more information on this service please contact Grace Clark
  • Dementia Cafe, Gt Shelford, Cambridge
    This service is directed primarily at people in the early stages of dementia and their carers. The café is a facilitated social event providing structured activity, information giving, open discussion and social engagement. Our Dementia Support Workers and health professionals will be there to answer questions and offer support. There is no formal referral process or assessment to attend the café. The café operates as an open event. Held one Thursday a month at David Rayner Centre, Scotsdale Garden Centre, Great Shelford, Cambs CB22 5JT. There is a nominal charge for this service.   • Dementia Information Point, Cambridge
    Your opportunity to call in to ask questions, receive information and/or support. Runs every Monday and Wednesday between 10.00 am and 12.00 pm at St Columba's Church Hall, Downing Street, Cambridge CB2 3EL. Please contact the Cambridge and Ely office for further details.
  • Dementia Information Point, Ely
    Your opportunity to call in to ask questions, receive information and/or support. Runs every Thursday morning at the Ely Cathedral Centre, Palace Green, Ely CB7 4EW. Please contact the Cambridge and Ely office for more details.

  • Mansel Group, Arbury, Cambridge
    A support group for people with dementia and their carers. The fortnightly group provides a chance to talk to others, receive information and support, and enjoy activities. Relevant speakers are arranged throughout the year. Held at the Church of the Good Shepherd Hall, Mansel Way, off Arbury Road, Cambridge CB4 2ET. There is a nominal charge for attendance.     The group provides support, information, activities and a chance to talk. Held first Tuesday in the month between 10 am and 12 noon at Elin Way Sheltered Housing, Elin Way, Meldreth, Royston, Herts SG8 6LX. There is a nominal charge for attendance.   • Outreach, Cambridge and Ely
    Dementia Support Workers work together with person with dementia and their carersÂ’ and families to help understand dementia by providing on going support, information, guidance and coping strategies. We can also refer to our groups or signpost to other organisations
  • Peer Support Group, Ely

  • Singing for the Brain, Sawston, Cambridgeshire
    This service is run by a Dementia Support Worker and a qualified Music Therapist. This weekly structured group is for people with dementia and their carers and designed around the principles of music therapy and singing. The Singing for the Brain© sessions are designed to be an enjoyable, fun social group where those attending are able to seek peer support combined with active participation. Meet each Monday between 10.45-12.00 at the Youth Centre, Sawston Village College, New Road, Sawston CB22 3BP. There is a nominal charge for attendance.
