Services offered

• Basildon Activity Group
  Social group meeting, providing support and stimulating activities for both people with dementia and their carers. Held on the last Wednesday of each month between 2 pm and 4 pm. Basildon United Reform Church, 6 Honeypot Lane, Basildon, Essex, SS14 2JZ.
• Basildon and Brentwood Memory Clinic
  Information and support provided within the Basildon and Brentwood Memory Service. Please contact the service office for further details.
• Bowling Group
  Social Group meeting, providing the activity of bowling for people with dementia and their carers. Held at the Hollywood Bowl, Festival Leisure Park, Basildon. Meet at 2 pm. Every 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month.
• Brentwood Activity Group
  A support/activity group for newly diagnosed clients and their carers. Held every second Tuesday of the month at the Brentwood Resource Centre between 3.00 pm and 5.00 pm. Please contact service office for further details.
• Brentwood Family Support Group
  Support group for people with dementia and their carers. Held the first Tuesday of the month between 3 pm and 5 pm. Please contact the service office for further details.
• Dementia Support
  Dementia Support Worker providing support and information to people with dementia, their carers and families either in their homes or at another suitable location.
• Hadleigh Memory Group
  Reminiscence group for people with dementia. Memory Boxes are introduced which promote recognition and conversation. There is also a selection of activities, games and music enjoyed in each session. Carers are also able to stay at the group if they wish to. Please contact the service office for further details.
• Information and Support
  Support and information provided to people with dementia and their family either at home, by telephone or by other suitable arrangement.
• Memory Clinic at Harland Centre Westcliff on Sea
  Dementia Support within Memory Clinic at Harland Centre, supporting newly diagnosed within the Memory Clinic
• Memory Clinic within Sydervelt Centre
  Dementia Support within Memory Clinic at Sydervelt Centre, supporting newly diagnosed within the Memory Clinic
• Motivated Men's Support Group
  Support Group for men with dementia of all ages. Providing social interaction and stimulating activities. Held every Tuesday morning between 10am and 12 noon at the Swan Mead Centre, Basildon, Essex and every Thursday at Hannakins Farm, Rosebay Avenue, Billericay, CM12 0SY
• Walking Group
  Social Group meeting, providing the activity of walking for people with dementia and their carers. Held at King George's Playing Fields, Ingrave Road, Brentwood CM14 5AE. Every 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month
