• Awareness Raising
  Awareness raising through information stands, talks/presentations and workshops etc
• Befriending
  A volunteer befriender will visit a person with dementia on a weekly or fortnightly basis for up to two hours. This gives them the opportunity to do more of the things they enjoy which could include a round of golf, shopping, listening to music or simply having a cup of tea and a chat. The befriending service runs in partnership with Radio Merseyside.
• Bratts Support Group
  An informal support group open to people with dementia, their carers, families and/or professionals. Drop In to the Bratts Coffee Shop (3rd floor) any time between 10.30am and 12 noon for a chat. Group held on 3rd Monday of the month.
• Dementia and Carer Support
  Support to carers of people with dementia, and through them support for the person with dementia. Support offered in the form of telephone calls, home visits, advice and information and signposting to other appropriate organisations
• Friendship Matters, Walking Group
  Walking group for people with dementia & their carers held on the 1st Monday of each month. A gentle walk to enjoy the great outdoors followed by a cup of tea or coffee and a chat. Suitable clothing and footwear should be worn and you need to be able to walk 1 - 2 miles at a gentle pace. Veunes vary so please contact the office for further details.
• Frodsham Drop-in Support Group
  Drop-in coffee morning at the Community Church, Main Street Frodsham. 2nd Tuesday of each month, come along any time between 10.30 am to 12 noon
• Northwich Activity Group
  Activity Group run in partnership with the Northwich Rotary Club for people with dementia and their carers. Held on the 3rd Wednesday of the month at the Salvation Army Northwich Corps between 2.15pm and 4.15pm. A variety of activities take place including cards, dominos, skittles, cake decorating and singing to name but a few. If activites are not your thing then just come along for a nice cuppa and a chat to friends.
• Provision of Information and Advice
  Information on dementia, how it affects peoples lives and how to cope and care for someone with dementia.
• Riverside Support Group
  Support Group for carers of people with dementia and those they care for. Held at alternating venues each month between The Riverside Inn and The Woodpecker on the 2nd Monday of each month. Carers and those they care for can meet from 12noon for lunch after which they will be joined by a Support Worker from 1pm.
• SALT - Winsford Activity Group
  Activity based group for people with dementia and their carers. A chance to engage in activites including cards, dominos, cake decorating and singing to name but a few. If activities are not your thing just come along for a nice cuppa and a chat to friends. Held on the 4th Tuesday of the month.
• Sounds of Music
  Music and Singing Group for people with dementia and their carers. Sing to songs both old and new and enjoy a cup of cup of tea with friends. Perfect singing voice not required, just come along and have fun! A small charge of £2 per person is made for attending this group. Call the office to book your place.
• Woodpecker Support Group
  Support Group for carers of people with dementia and those they care for. Held at alternating venues each month between The Riverside Inn and The Woodpecker on the 2nd Monday of each month. People with dementia and their carers can meet from 12noon for lunch after which they will be joined by a Support Worker from 1pm.
