  • Arts and crafts group
    A new monthly social group for people with dementia, their carers, friends and families. Each month we have a variety of arts and crafts activities in a friendly environment. 11.00am-1.00pm on the 3rd Thursday of each month at St. Ann's Social Centre, 1043 Chester Road, Stretford, M32 8LF. Free.
  • Flixton Carers Support Group
    If you care for someone with dementia you can come here to talk in a relaxed environment with other carers and find practical solutions to your problems. 2.00-4.00pm on 1st Monday of the month, at St Michael's Church Croft, 28 The Village, Church Road, Flixton, M41 6HS. Free.
  • Outing and Day trips
    We run occasional social trips for people with dementia and their carers. For details and prices, see the latest edition of our newsletter or contact us.
  • Sale Carers Support Group
    If you care for someone with dementia you can come here to talk in a relaxed environment with other carers and find practical solutions to your problems. 2.00-4.00pm on 4th Wednesday of the month, at Salvation Army Church, Ashton Lane, Sale, M33 6NP. Free.
  • Signposting Service
    Trafford has many services for people with dementia. If you have dementia or care for someone who does, we can direct you towards all the services in Trafford that suit you. Just contact us for free advice.
  • Vibrant Voices Choir
    For people living with dementia or memory loss, together with their carers and families. Join us at 2pm in the cafe area, which serves tea/coffee and cakes. Support workers will be on hand to give advice and support. At 3pm join the fun choir session, led by Clare Morel and a pianist. 2.00-4.00pm every Wednesday at the Cinnamon Club, The Firs, Bowdon, Altrincham WA14 2TQ. £3 per person, including tea and cakes.
  • Walk and talk group
    A twice-monthly walking group for people with dementia, their carers, friends and families. You can walk a variety of different routes and distances around Sale Water Park and the Bridgewater Canal, or use the indoor tea and coffee making facilities if the weather is bad. Please contact Maria in advance on 0780 311 5492 to see if there is anything we can do to support you. 12.00 noon-2.00pm on the 2nd and 4th Friday of each month at Crossford Bridge Sports Centre, Danefield Road (off Dane Road), Sale, M33 7WR. Free.
