• Carers Coffee, Chat and Craft Group
  Social group meeting once a month for friendship and companionship. Also share craft skills, card making and knitting etc.
• Day care - Alexandra Lodge
  Activities, care, practical and emotional support.
• Day care - Garden Court
  Activities, care and practical and emotional support.
• Dementia Cafe
  Drop in where people meet others, have lunch, come and listen to the speaker or talk to a member of staff. Dementia is talked about openly.
• Dementia Friendly Cafe
  Lunch provided at a small charge. An opportunity for people with dementia and their carers to meet as a couple or with another family member to support them. Occassional speakers.
• Information
  Supports people with information verbal and written, videos, talks and events.
• Jarrow carer support group
  Group meeting once a month over lunch. Usually has speaker with topic requested by group related to their role as carer. Information and support available as required.
• Memory Support Group
  Supporting people with dementia.
• One to one support for carers and people with dementia
  Meets with individual carers and people with dementia to provide information and emotional support, helping people to access services and improve quality of life.
• South Shields carers meeting
  Group meeting once a month over lunch. Usually has speaker with topic requested by group related to their role as carer. Information and support available as required.
