  • Carer Support
    To provide advice, information and support to carers.
  • Community Dementia Forum
    The aim of the forum is to harness vital information from local people in a bid to make radical changes and get a better understanding of the problems and issues involved around dementia for both service users and their carers.
  • CrISP Information Programme County Durham
    The Carer Information and Support Programme or CrISP course lead by the Carers' Information Programme Development Manager providing effective support and up to date, relevant and evidence based information in a group environment.
  • Day care
    Day care for people with dementia over 65 years of age based at The Green day care centre 5 days per week
  • Dementia Cafe - Belmont, Durham
    Provides an opportunity for people with dementia, their family and friends to meet in a supportive environment and enjoy refreshments together. A wide range of information on living with dementia will be available through talks from staff and volunteers. Dementia will be talked about openly. Every 4th Thursday afternoon in the month, starting on 25 Oct 12, at Parish Centre, Broomside Lane.
  • Dementia Cafe - Chester le Street
    Provides an opportunity for people with dementia, their family and friends to meet in a supportive environment and enjoy refreshments together. A wide range of information on living with dementia will be available through talks from staff and volunteers. Dementia will be talked about openly. Every 2nd Friday morning in the month, starting on 12 Oct 12, at Bethel Chapel Lower Hall.
  • Dementia Cafe - Lanchester
    Provides an opportunity for people with dementia, their family and friends to meet in a supportive environment and enjoy refreshments together. A wide range of information on living with dementia will be available through talks from staff and volunteers. Dementia will be talked about openly. Every 2nd Thursday afternoon in the month, starting on 11 Oct 12, at the Community Centre, Newbiggin Lane.
  • Dementia Cafe - Newton Hall, Durham
    Provides an opportunity for people with dementia, their family and friends to meet in a supportive environment and enjoy refreshments together. A wide range of information on living with dementia will be available through talks from staff and volunteers. Dementia will be talked about openly. Every 3rd Tuesday afternoon in the month, starting on 18 Sep 12, at All Saints Church Hall, Carr House Road.
  • Dementia Cafe - Wolsingham
    Provides an opportunity for people with dementia, their family and friends to meet in a supportive environment and enjoy refreshments together. A wide range of information on living with dementia will be available through talks from staff and volunteers. Dementia will be talked about openly. Every 2nd Tuesday afternoon in the month, starting on 5 Nov 12, at St Annes Community Centre.
