If you have concerns about Alzheimer's disease or about any other form of dementia, Alzheimer's Society National Dementia Helpline 0300 222 1122 can provide information, support, guidance and signposting to other appropriate organisations.

  • The Helpline is usually open from:
    9am - 8pm Monday to Wednesday
    9am - 5pm on Thursday and Friday
    10am - 4pm on Saturday and Sunday

  • The service may be closed occasionally during these times for operational reasons or because of staff shortage.
  • Callers speak to trained Helpline Advisers.

Please note the National Dementia Helpline will be closed for the Easter weekend, from Friday 3 April to Monday 6 April. The Helpline will re-open on Tuesday 7 April at 9am.

Calls to the Helpline cost no more than the national call rate and must also count towards any inclusive minutes in a phone contract. This rule applies to calls from any type of line including mobile, BT, other fixed line or payphone.
