Services offered

• Aftercare Group

  The group is for anyone who has been caring for someone with dementia and that person has now died. Meeting monthly on social bases to share experiences.

• Alzheimers Forum

  The website is run by and for people with dementia to share experiences and offer mutual support. It raises self esteem and gives a sense of achievement through being part of a national and global forum.

• Carers Support Groups

  Various support groups in Tunbridge Wells area, Sevenoaks and Tonbridge. Offering a chance to meet and share experiences with other carers.

• Computer Project

  Using specialist computer equipment we encourage clients to discover new ways of communicating, creative self expression and access interests.

• Help Line

  Available for help, information on any of the services that we run, advice on local services and a listening ear to anyone with or caring for someone with memory problems.

• Home Support Scheme

  The service offers stimulation to help maintain the skills of the person with dementia. Some activities include banking,shopping,cooking and helping to pursue hobbies and interests.

• Lunch Club

  A group of people with dementia and their carers who are on our waiting list for a service. We meet once a month in a local pub for lunch.

• Park Lodge

  Based on a client led approach Park Lodge provides an environment for clients to pursue their interests, maintain social skills and participate in a variety of activities. 2 days for younger people,2 mixed days and 1 day for people in the very early stage

• Park Lodge Eating and Social Event

  A Pub lunch for people with dementia and their carers to gain support, information and for social interaction. Two services one in Hadlow and one in Tunbridge Wells.

• Short Term Intensive Support Service

  The service is intended for those people who have significant memory impairment who are in acute hospital beds. It promotes early discharge from hospital, prevents hospital admission and carer breakdown, offering support within the home for initially four weeks with a review.
