Health and social care

Health and social care professionals can offer advice and services to people with dementia and their carers. It is important to find out what help is available while the dementia is still at an early stage, so that you know who to turn to when the need arises.

For more details of the roles of a range of key health professionals who can assist people with dementia and their carers see Factsheet 454, How health and social care professionals can help and Living with dementia booklet 1503, Who are all these health professionals?
