Collect for the appeal

Thank you for your interest in collecting for Alzheimer's Society!

By giving just two or three hours to collect at your local supermarket, station or town centre, you can make a life-changing difference and help even more people living with dementia receive the support they need.

FAQs

You will receive updates from the team in the lead up to your collection which will provide you with everything you need to know before the day, so keep an eye on your inbox and double-check your junk-mail folder.

These updates include information about what time to arrive, where to go, and what to expect at the collection.

We will be collecting in over 450 Morrisons stores across Scotland, Wales and England during Dementia Action Week (15 – 21 May). There will be additional collections in Belfast, Birmingham, Chelmsford and Leeds throughout the month of May.

This role doesn’t require any specific skills or experience, we welcome anyone with a friendly and enthusiastic approach and a willingness to take part! There will be the opportunity to both utilise your existing skills and to learn and develop new ones.

If you are part of a team, or want to bring a friend to collect with you, we would love for you to come along. All you need to do alongside signing up is simply email [email protected] and let us know who you will be volunteering with. Due to the capacity at our Morrisons collection sites, please limit your group size to no more than two.

Due to the nature of the role, you will have to be 18 or over to collect for the Forget Me Not Appeal. Unfortunately you will also be unable to bring any young children or dependents with you to collect.
