London Christmas Collectors raise thousands for the Society
From three festive train station collections this Christmas period, over an amazing £3,700 was raised for the Society.
Over the Christmas period, three Christmas collections were held in Waterloo Station, Hammersmith Station and Teddington Station to raise funds for Alzheimer's Society.
The Lambeth Wind Orchestra performed and put together a festive piece in Waterloo station raising over £1,300 in just 2 hours.
One of our long standing dedicated supporters spent the day collecting in Teddington Station and with match funded from their employer, managed to raise an incredible £1,284 for the Society.
Finally the Troupe Theatre Company also organised a lovely Carol service in Hammersmith station, singing many Christmas classics. They also raised an impressive amount of over £1,200.
Over £3,700 was raised so thank you to everyone that took part and to everyone that stopped and donated as well. All your efforts will go towards greatly improving the lives of those living with dementia and their carers.
