Research assistant positions

Research assistant, START Laying the Foundations project, Univeristy College London Division of Psychiatry 

START (Strategies for Relatives) is effective and cost-effective in reducing depression and anxiety in family carers of relatives with dementia. The team are seeking a Research Assistant to work in this Alzheimer's Society-funded project to lay the foundations to widen access to START within the third sector, and within minority ethnic (ME) groups.

The post involves qualitative and quantitative interviewing, qualitative analysis and participation in developing the intervention. The post holder will take part in delivering the intervention under the supervision of Dr Rapaport, a clinical psychologist. The post holder will be based with the multi-professional team working under Prof Gill Livingston. 

The post holder will be a researcher with a first degree in psychology (2:1 or above) and excellent communication skills and organisational abilities, and a research interest in dementia. It is desirable that the post holder has knowledge of the South Asian community including language and culture.
