Volunteering at our offices is a great way to gain new skills or use your experience to help us fight dementia.

Office volunteers provide valuable support to staff involved with the delivery of services and other essential activities.

As a volunteer you will learn about our work, joining a dedicated team who will ensure you get the most out your role.

Working either from your local office or at home, your volunteering work will depend on the team you are placed with.

Roles vary from administration and data related tasks to project support, volunteer recruitment or assisting with specific team’s activities.

Roles are flexible, but we do hope you will be able to offer a few hours each week or fortnight, and provide some continuity over a number of months.

If you have some experience of providing support in an office environment, have good verbal communication skills, by telephone and face to face, then we can find a role to suit you.

If you have good IT skills, especially Microsoft® Office applications, and are keen to provide a high standard of service then there are plenty of ways you can help in our offices.

All of the relevant training is included in our office roles.

If you would like to know more about this or other volunteer roles, please contact the Volunteering Support Team on 0300 222 5706, or email the volunteering team.
