Our fundraising volunteers are crucial to the work we do, enabling us to grow our income year on year making sure people affected by dementia get the support they need today and helping find a cure for tomorrow. To deliver the change required for people with dementia we will need to raise £1 billion of voluntary income over the next decade. We couldn't do this without the incredible support of our fundraising volunteers.
By taking on one of our volunteer fundraising roles, you will not only be contributing to our work but will also have fun, meet new people and be able to put your skills to a fantastic use.
We have a range of roles available that are flexible to meet your needs:
Volunteer Fundraising Groups: Join a group of like-minded people in your area to plan and organise events and activities
Fundraising representatives: Support your local Community Fundraiser in your area attending cheque presentations, giving talks about the work of Alzheimer's Society and attending events as a representative of Alzheimer's Society.
Collection tin coordinator: Liaise with local businesses and organisations willing to host a collection tin. Place and collect tins, ensuring money is counted and safely banked.
Fundraising support: Join us in one of our local offices providing support to your local Community Fundraiser. Tasks could include research, event promotion, phone calls and administration tasks
Collections coordinator: Contact stores in your local community to book in collection days, recruit and manage volunteers and ensure income is safely banked
