1. Dementia Friendly Awards 2017 - England and Wales winners

Winners of the 2017 Dementia Friendly Awards 2017

Winners of this year's Dementia Friendly Awards 2017 for England and Wales were announced at the awards ceremony which took place on Wednesday 29 November at etc.venues County Hall, London. The awards were hosted by Angela Rippon, and presenters included Jeremy Hunt and actors Lesley Sharp and Richard McCourt.

The number of nominations we received for this year's Dementia Friendly Awards was truly phenomenal. Nominations were judged by a panel of people affected by dementia and industry experts who worked hard to whittle them down to our finalist's inspirational and exceptional stories. Thank you to all our judges and presenters.
