For callers to the Helpline who do not have English as their language of choice we can arrange a simultaneous language translation service.
How to use the confidential translation service
- Ring the Helpline on 0300 222 1122.
- When your call is answered, say the English word for the language you would like to use.
Please note, you’ll need to give your name and telephone number in English (or have someone with you to do this).
- Hang up your phone and wait. An interpreter will usually call you back within five minutes. They will help us give you the information you need.
