We are incredibly excited to announce that the spectacular St Paul’s Cathedral will be hosting our Carols at Christmas concert next year on Tuesday 18 December!
Thank you to all who attended our magical Carols at Christmas concert this year!
We would like to say a huge heartfelt thank you to everyone for coming to our fifth Carols at Christmas concert in London and uniting against dementia. From canapes and bubbly to angelic performances from our Singing for the Brain group, the concert really did kick start the festive season.
We would also like to take this opportunity to thank Southwark Cathedral for their breath-taking venue, our host Fiona Phillips and celebrity readers; Carey Mulligan, Arlene Phillips CBE, Ben Lamb and Susie Blake. Additionally, thank you to our phenomenal Singing for the Brian group from Merton Dementia Hub, Vasari Singers and Dianne Campbell for their participation.
Thank you to our headline ‘Platinum Star’ sponsor, HSBC, as well as our ‘Silver Santa’ sponsor, Baker and Mckenzie, ‘Gold Angel’ sponsor, Bank of Ireland and our ‘Bronze Tinsel’ printing sponsor, Xcalibre. We are also incredibly grateful to Barefoot Wine & Bubbly for kindly sponsoring our drinks for the evening as well as Marks & Spencer Finsbury Pavement for providing our mince pies.
Last but not least, we are incredibly grateful to Rosewood London, Sir Tim Rice, Go Ape, Bateaux London and Berry Bros and Rudd for donating phenomenal prizes for our raffles.
The concert raised a staggering £28,000. All proceeds helped transform the landscape of dementia. Once again, thank you for supporting us so generously.
Alzheimer’s Society wish you all a very merry Christmas and a happy new year.
