The Alzheimer’s Society Roadshow brings expert dementia advice, information and support directly to you.
What is the Roadshow?
Travelling across England, Wales and Northern Ireland throughout the year, our roadshow vehicles give you an opportunity to speak to one of our dementia experts in your local town, city or at a nearby event.
Whether you have a specific question or a more complicated set of needs, we aim to offer personalised advice on the day. We can also put you in contact with local and national services, as well as suggesting our award-winning information booklets for you to take away for free.
How can the Roadshow help you?
Whatever your relationship to dementia, there are lots of ways the Roadshow can help you;
- If you are worried about your memory or that of a loved one and want expert advice
- If you or a loved one have been newly diagnosed and you’re looking for more information and support
- If you have a general interest in dementia and want to learn more, how you can help or how to reduce your risk
Where will it be?
From March to October the Roadshow will be travelling around the country.
Find out when the Roadshow will be in your area by taking a look at the map below.
We schedule the events by taking into consideration distances, diagnosis rates, staff support and location requests. At times, we are limited by the size of the vehicle as certain locations cannot accommodate us. However, we make every effort to ensure the Roadshow covers as wide an area as possible.
