The entire city gets behind this event each year, with over 20,000 runners taking on the course that gives you a tour of the north, south, east and west of the city. Runners and walkers of all speeds are welcomed by an amazingly enthusiastic crowd on route, to a triumphant finish in Ormeau Park. There is also the option of entering relay teams of up to five people, a nine mile walk and a three mile fun run.
Once you have signed up for your place with the race organisers, you can join our team by filling out out our online form.
Own place entries
If you already have your own place in the Belfast City Marathon we’d love to have you on our team. We can help you prepare for the race, and send you a fundraising pack, training plan, running top and other helpful information for the big day!
When you run for us, you'll receive:

- a free running top to wear on race day
- detailed training guides for different abilities and personalised support from our experts
- access to a Facebook group where you can chat to other runners
- support from our dedicated events team to help you smash your fundraising target

Join our cheer team at the Belfast City Marathon. We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to support our runners on the course.

Every penny you raise for Alzheimer’s Society helps provide vital support for people affected by dementia.

With JustGiving your fundraising money is automatically sent to us, Gift Aid collected, and your sponsors thanked.
