Donate to Alzheimer's Society

Your kind donations ensure that Alzheimer’s Society can be there for every person affected by dementia. Your gift helps us to challenge perceptions, fund research and improve care and support. Together, we are united against dementia.

Make a donation

£20 could go towards the costs of our Dementia Advisers who are here to support people living with dementia with a range of queries, including help with managing money.

£30 could go towards the running of our support and advice services where our expert staff are able to help people affected by dementia with the financial entitlements they are eligible to receive.

£50 could help fund our Support Line, where calls from people affected by dementia with money concerns have doubled in recent months since the cost-of-living crisis began. Our advice and support during these tough times is essential for many individuals and families.

Donate to help fund dementia research

Research is the key to beating dementia, and will lead to improved diagnosis, effective treatments, and the high-quality care that everyone living with dementia deserves.

However, only through continued funding will this be possible.

How your donation helps

By 2021, over 1 million people in the UK will be living with dementia. Alzheimer’s Society is the only UK charity focused on addressing the growing dementia crisis from all sides.

Your donations enable us to research into care and cure, provide support and training, and campaign for the rights of people living with dementia.

Last year, your gifts helped over 200,000 people who were affected by dementia, but we need to increase this to ensure that no one has to face dementia alone.  Find out more about how your money helps people affected by dementia.

How we spend your donations

For every pound we spend, 88p goes directly towards improving the lives of people affected by dementia

Thanks to generous people like you, last year we answered 45,000 calls to our Dementia Connect support line, trained 2.8 million Dementia Friends, and invested £37 million into research, just to name a few of the incredible things that your kind gifts help to fund.

Your support ensures that we can offer help to those who need it most whilst looking for a cure and trying to create a more dementia friendly society.
