Information Creating a global dementia friendly movement At Alzheimer’s Society we have committed to helping other countries to develop their own Dementia Friends programmes, by sharing resources, learnings and fostering a global network. Information Dementia Friendly Communities worldwide The concept of Dementia Friendly Communities is spreading, and more and more people are recognising the importance of making communities inclusive, supportive and empowering for people living and affected by dementia. Information Global Alzheimer’s and Dementia Action Alliance We co-founded the Global Alzheimer's and Dementia Action Alliance (GADAA), which works to engage a broad spectrum of international civil society organisations to recognise the part they can play in global action on dementia. Research Research Collaboration Alzheimer’s Society reserves its funding for research carried out in the UK. However, we increasingly work with international partners and other Alzheimer’s associations to support global initiatives and strengthen the impact and reach of our work.
