Volunteering

Volunteers contribute to the success of our branch and we are always looking for new volunteers to help in various capacities.

Our volunteers help us for a variety of reasons - some join us because they wish to learn something new, they may want to share their skills, fill free time, gain experience for paid employment, feel they are "giving something back" or simply want to support the Alzheimer's Society.

Whatever their reasons we are grateful to them for helping us; our branch could not survive without them. In return we aim to support our volunteers by providing a programme, which includes induction, training, expenses and support sessions with our volunteer supporter. We offer a friendly environment and hope to make volunteering worthwhile and fun.

Volunteer Co-ordinator - Wendy Stone (01483 753651).
