What is available
You can meet up with our support workers in your
own home or in another place that suits you. They are also willing to meet you
outside office hours by arrangement.
Support is available during the
week from 9.30am - 4.30pm at our branch office. Messages can also be left on

Carer Support and Advocacy
Lesley Perrins is our carer
support and advocacy worker.
Lesley offers a service to carers and
families of people with dementia. You can meet up with her to discuss your
needs in your own home, or in another place that suits you.
Lesley
facilitates educational programmes for carers during the year. Contact the
branch office for details.
Early-stage dementia support
Kim Ewing is our dementia and
memory support worker.
Kim offers a service to people who are concerned
about their memory or those who are in the early experience of
dementia.

The Gimmmicks
A group of younger people with dementia calling
themselves "The Gimmmicks" was formed in 2006. The group is supported by Kim,
day centre staff and volunteers. They meet weekly for social gatherings and
outings. The Mayor of Woking 2006/7, John Kingsbury adopted "The Gimmmicks" as
his mayoral charity.
