Map of where we are We aim to provide high quality
day care that is safe, stimulating and responsive to the individual needs of a
person who has a medical diagnosis of dementia. It also provides a welcome
break for carers.
Our current premises are provided by Friends Of The
Elderly.
Our day centre is used as a placement for student nurses who
are studying at the University of Surrey.
We offer
- Transport, door to door, for people who live in Woking Borough,
if no other option is available
- Unlimited tea, coffee, cold drinks and a lunch time meal
- A welcoming and relaxed atmosphere
- A good client to staff ratio
- A flexible programme of activities paced to the needs of groups
or individuals.
Unfortunately we are unable to offer the service to people who
live in residential homes.
Informal visits to the day centre can be
made by arrangement with Elaine Watson the day centre manager, by telephoning
01483 753650
A charge is made for lunch. Refreshments are served
throughout the day. Escorted transport is available for a daily charge. Invoice
are sent monthly in arrears. Funding is obtained from various sources to keep
costs as low as possible.
