Non-pharmacological therapies for the treatment of behavioural symptoms in people with dementia can be effective in treating the symptoms of dementia. They can help with both behavioural and memory problems. They include aromatherapy, light therapy, dietary supplements, osteopathy and reflexology.

Alzheimer's Society has produced the report Non-pharmacological therapies for the treatment of behavioural symptoms of dementia which looks at the effectiveness of alternative therapy treatments.
