Maintaining everyday skills

When a person has dementia, it's important to help them carry on doing as much as they can for themselves, to preserve their dignity and confidence. By taking a few simple steps, you can help them continue to make the best use of their skills and abilities as their condition progresses.

For tips on how to achieve this see Factsheet 521, Maintaining everyday skills
