Lesbian and gay carers

It is estimated that between 35,000 and 70,000 lesbian, gay and bisexual people care for a person with dementia in the UK. Lesbian and gay carers and people with dementia sometimes face prejudice and ignorance when they try to gain access to support and services to help them cope with dementia.
