Brain Training

The idea behind Brain Training is that performing exercises in learning and memory might help to improve cognitive abilities and possibly prevent or delay the onset of dementia. However, a large clinical study run by Alzheimer's Society has shown that playing Brain Training games does not improve mental fitness in areas such as reasoning, memory or logic. More research is needed to see whether brain training might be effective in preventing dementia but at the moment the evidence doesn't look promising.
