Salary: 17,929 per annum plus recruitment premium of £1,793 per annum pro rata  
Actual: £10,757 per annum plus recruitment premium of £1,075 per annum
21 Hours per week
Fixed Term Contract until 31st March 2011

Alzheimer's Society is the leading care and research charity for people with any form of dementia, their carers and families.  Dementia affects over 750,000 people in the UK alone and numbers continue to grow.

The Southend District Branch of the Alzheimer's Society would like to appoint a Dementia Café Coordinator to develop services to provide information and peer support for people with dementia and their carers.

You must have an understanding of the issues affecting people with dementia and their carers. A Criminal Records Bureau disclosure will be required.
