Salary: £16,892 per annum plus recruitment premuim of £1,689 per annum pro rata
Actual: £8,445 per annum plus recruitment premium of £844 per annum
Hours: 17.5 Hours per week
Fixed Term Contract until 31st March 2011

Alzheimer's Society is the leading care and research charity for people with any form of dementia, their carers and families.  Dementia affects over 750,000 people in the UK alone and numbers continue to grow.

The Southend District Branch of the Alzheimer's Society would like to appoint two Support Group Facilitators to develop services to provide information and peer support for people with dementia and their carers.

You must have an understanding of the issues affecting people with dementia and their carers. An enhanced Criminal Records Bureau disclosure will be required.
