16 hours per week

Six months fixed term contract with possibility of extension

We have an exciting opportunity for a Dementia Support Worker in North Tyneside.   The main purpose of this post is to meet with people who have recently been given a diagnosis of dementia and offer support, information and guidance in understanding their condition and planning for the future. You should posses an NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent).  A satisfactory disclosure from the Criminal Records Bureau will be required.
