Do you have what it takes to be part of a world-class fundraising team?
Dementia already affects 700,000 people in the UK and numbers are set to rise to one million by 2025. The work of Alzheimer's Society has never been so vital but to help all of these people we need money. Have you got what it takes to help us raise it?
We are looking for an exceptional person to join our expanding High Value Giving Unit. As a key member of our highly skilled Trusts and Statutory Team, you will proactively seek out opportunities for raising significantly more grant funding to help support the Society's ongoing work and ambitious plans for the future. You will develop and maintain strong relationships with statutory funders in England , Wales and Northern Ireland and work closely with your colleagues throughout the organisation to achieve your objectives.
To succeed in this post you will have proven experience of securing grants from a broad range of statutory funders, as well as the personality and confidence to build lasting relationships at all levels. Highly motivated, with effective time management skills, you will be equally comfortable working independently and as part of a team. With a genuine desire to make a positive difference to the lives of those affected by dementia, you will also be keen to take on the challenge of a new and exciting role within a dynamic organisation.
