Leisure and Well-being Worker (Coventry)

Salary: £15,696 per annum

Hours: 35 per week

Fixed term six month contract.

As a Leisure Support Worker you will schedule your working hours to suit the needs of our clients.

The role is to support people with dementia by offering them opportunities for increased well-being and enjoyment. The role will require you to be working independently with clients on a one to one basis. You will be supporting them to pursue their hobbies, interests and enabling them to carry out activities by accompanying the clients.

Knowledge of dementia and an NVQ 2 (or equivalent) is essential. An enhanced criminal record disclosure will be required before an offer of employment is confirmed. You must be able to travel independently across the area.
