Day Support Worker/Support Group Facilitator (Bexley)

Salary: £9,277 per annum

21 Hours per week

Location: Bexley

Six Months Fixed Term Contract

Alzheimer's Society is the leading care and research charity for people with dementia, their families and carers.

The ideal candidate will support people with dementia, assisting in all operational aspects of the Day Support Service offering a caring attitude and person centred approach to enhance the wellbeing of the people that we care for.  In addition you will also be experienced and confident in facilitating groups of people with dementia and their carers. 

Successful applicants will be qualified or be willing to work towards NVQ Level 2 in Care, have excellent listening and communication skills, and the ability to empathise with a person with dementia, as well as experience in preparing and facilitating groups.
