Day Support Worker (Bexley)

Salary: £13,550 per annum pro rata

Actual: £5,419 per annum

14 Hours per week

Six Months Fixed Term Contract

Alzheimer's Society is the leading care and research charity for people with dementia, their families and carers.

As a day support worker you will support people with dementia within the Borough of Bexley.  You will assist in all operational aspects of the Day Support service offering a caring attitude and person centred approach to enhance the wellbeing of the people that we care for.

Successful applicants will be qualified or be willing to work towards NVQ Level 2 in Care, have excellent listening and communication skills, and the ability to empathise with a person with dementia.  Experience working within a care environment is desirable but not essential.
