Volunteer: Support Services, East Grinstead

What will I be doing?

Our carers support group in East Grinstead provides a safe, friendly environment where carers can be themselves and talk comfortably with others in a similar situation. At the same time and in the same location a separate group meets to provide support and activities for those they care for with dementia.

We are looking for volunteers to assist support workers in the running of activities for people with dementia.

We are also looking for volunteers to make carers feel welcome and to help prepare teas and coffees.

Where will I be volunteering?

The groups meet at Jubilee Community Centre, Charleswood Road, East Grinstead.

How much time do you expect me to commit?

We are looking for volunteers who are available for 2-3 hours a month. The groups meet between 2pm-4pm on the second Wednesday of each month.
