Volunteer: Support Services, Brighton

What will I be doing?

Our carers support group in Brighton provides a safe and friendly environment where carers can be themselves and talk comfortably with others in a similar situation. At the same time and in the same location a separate group, run by support workers, meets to provide care and activities for the people with dementia.

We are looking for volunteers to assist support workers in the running of activities for the people with dementia.

We are also looking for volunteers to make carers feel welcome and to prepare teas and coffees.

Where will I be volunteering?

The groups meet at Belbourne Court, Bread Street, Brighton, BN1 1TZ.

How much time do you expect me to commit?

We are looking for volunteers who are available for 2-3 hours each month. The groups meet between 10.30am-12.30pm on the second Tuesday of each month.
