CAMPAIGN GROUP LEAD
Where is it you want me to volunteer?
Salisbury area. Bi-monthly group meetings to be held at the local office: Alzheimer's Society, 29a Brown Street, Salisbury, SP1 2AS
What will I be doing?
Campaigners help to raise awareness of dementia and play a vital role in influencing the care and support that people receive at a local level. As a Campaign Group Lead you may be:
- Responding to the local environment and generating new campaign ideas
- Completing campaign plans with support from the Campaign Group Volunteers and co-ordinating the group
- Scheduling and chairing meetings or nominating an alternative
- Communicating and engaging with internal audiences (e.g Society staff, volunteers and members) and external audiences (e.g general public, health and social care professionals, elected representatives, partner organisations)
How much time do you expect me to commit?
This role is flexible but ideally you will be able to commit between 2 and 3 hours per week and attend meetings arranged by the Campaigns and Media Group (bi-monthly meetings).
