Volunteer: Campaign Group Volunteer, Salisbury

CAMPAIGN GROUP VOLUNTEER

Where is it you want me to volunteer?

Salisbury area. Bi-monthly group meetings held at the local office: Alzheimer's Society, 29a Brown Street, Salisbury, SP1 2AS

What will I be doing?

As a member of a local campaigns group you will volunteer to champion the rights of people with dementia. You could be lobbying external stakeholders including the general public, health professionals, MPs, councillors and partner organisations to improve the quality of care for people with dementia.

You may also represent the society at local and national events, speaking public about our campaigns. No experience is necessary just plenty of passion, enthusiasm and willingness to raise awareness of dementia.

How much time do you expect me to commit?

This role is flexible, ideally you will be able to attend meetings arranged by the Campaigns Group and are able to get involved flexibly.
