PR VOLUNTEER – EVENTS

 

Where is it you want me to volunteer?
Alzheimer's Society, Agriculture House, Greville Close, Sandhurst Lane, Gloucester, GL2 9RG

 

What will I be doing?

• Supporting PR activity on a particular fundraising events, service or campaign, e.g. Memory Walk, Dementia Awareness Week™
• Writing press releases, articles and providing information to journalists as and when required
• Monitoring and logging relevant local media coverage

How much time do you expect me to commit?

This role is flexible, ideally we would like someone able to help around 8 hours each month over a mutually agreed timescale. Duties can be undertaken at any time, however you will need to be able to attend some meetings with your line manager and/or fundraising groups during office hours.
